Dr. Slappey received his bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southwestern College and his medical degree from
the Medical College of Georgia in
Augusta. He completed a one-year
internship and a six-year residency at
Georgia Baptist Medical Center in
Atlanta and is board-certified by the
American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Slappey is one of the very few Orthopaedic physicians now certified in Orthotripsy shock wave treatment using what is known as the Ossatron.
