The hand and wrist are composed of an intense networking of bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments. The complex structure, combined with the high rate at which the hand and wrist are exposed in athletic as well as everyday activity, makes injury common.

No matter what your age or occupation your hands and wrists are always working. Since your hands/wrists are so important any abnormality can be a cause for concern. Many common wrist problems that interfere with your daily activities can be diagnosed and treated by your orthopaedic surgeon.
